Great low profile timer
Wonderful devices, easy to set up and control through the app and small enough that it only takes one outlet on a double wall outlet. Would be 5 star except that you have to unplug them briefly about every 3 months for the schedule to continue functioning.

Just turns on and off the electricity
These work great, I’ve connected them to my Alexa and they turn on my fan, tv, and anything else I’ve plugged into them. Keep in mind they just turn off and on the power of something not completely turn anything on, I have a Roku tv so it just turns on the electricity of my tv but it doesn’t turn on my screen, same thing with my vanity. My vanity turns on by a touch screen button on the mirror not by the smart plug, the plug only powers the vanity. Same with my fan if I leave my fan on the on button the plug will turn the electricity off and on making it turn on and off but as soon as I rotate the fan button to off, the smart plug won’t turn it on even if plugged in!

Item connects to a Chinese app.
The product is okay I could have given it a higher rating. The only problem is you have to connect it to a Chinese app to make it work. This product is a GHome plug.

Convenience and Ease of Setup!
I have a bunch of GHome Smart items in my home. 8 plugs, 2 wall dimmer switches, 1 wall switch, and a power bar with 6 smart plugs. All easy to manage, and all voice controllable with Alexa. Connectivity is reliable. In the video attached, you can see how I use the Smart items. I have a large hard drive with photos and videos that I connect to my TV. By using a GHome Smart Plug I can turn on the hard drive before I turn on the TV. Not having to physically deal with turning these items on and off and instead having Alexa do it is wonderful. We can check in the GHome app to see if we left on a light and turn it off from the app. Highly recommend!

Easy to use hard to setup
Super easy to use once setup, able to use voice control through my phone etc or press the button. Using three of them for light control in my room and they are great. Was finicky to setup as I had to keep retrying, in order to change what wifi it was on I had to keep resetting it. After the first go it became quicker.

Fat round and too Low powered amperage
Warning, two issues…One, they don’t tell you that these are 10 amp and not 15 amp and can not handle heavy loads. If using something like a floor heater, you will need to buy the more expensive of this item. Looks like the exact same plug but higher priced and that is a 15 amp plug.Second, you can not use two of these at the same standard outlet, they are too fat and will not fit, one of these round plugs per outlet or you will need to buy the ghome square / rectangular dual smart plug. Other than that, these work great for low level lights or appliances.

These are excellent. We have the original four we purchased about 8 years ago, still working well. I purchased another four from another but compatible brand and have already had to replace two of them. Was very happy to see GHome back on Amazon.
