Beautiful! So worth it!
Regardless of some of the pieces being mislabeled & directions on some set ups being wrong it’s not hard to figure out & the bookshelf itself looks amazing! Holds amazing weight! If you have cats be ready to be fighting them or get off it! By the way there’s 2 bookshelves in one both from same spot!

Excellent buy
My husband loves to read every night before he goes to bed. His corner of the bed was full of books and comic books that you cannot even see the floor. He was like that for a few years. I told him about this book case but he refused. I buy it anyway and assembled it for him. When he saw it, he was convinced to use it. Now he can finally see the floor for almost 15 years. He is pleased with the quality and sturdiness even if it’s seating in the carpet. Worth the buy, he can put a lot of books on this book case.

Easy assembly
Excellent shelves, very clear instructions. I’m a petite female and built it all myself, even lifting the top half myself to set it carefully on the pins. There are two anchors made of strapping to attach to the walls, please use them even tho they may not color match your paint. The shelf may fall without them.

perfect for small places
My sister received this from me as a present. It’s extremely lightweight and stable so far she says. She says it fits perfectly in her very small area. She could spare in her living room room. She says that if she ever moved, she’s going to think about boxing it in and possibly purchasing a second one to go on top and boxing that one in which I think is a fabulous idea. She says that the instructions are not clear. They are not in order and to make sure you have your own tools because the tools with it broke. It had extra parts which she said she was happy for because since it’s made out of particle wood, if they get wet at all, they will crack easily. The price is just right for the material that was used. It’s slightly like a piece of furniture you would get from IKEA. Aesthetically pleasing to look at but cheaply made that is her words.

Good cheap bookcase
There’s nothing fancy about this bookshelf, which is why it is so inexpensive. However, for what it is, it’s very good. Very easy to assemble also. I feel like with this cheap MDF furniture, sometimes you get stuff that is a little brooker or whatever. But this isn’t; stands straight up. Good buy.

Veteran Ikea assembler here. I really struggled with this shelf and sent it back
Poor quality. The shelf is really two smaller shelves stuck on top of each other. You have to assemble each half separately and then stack them on top of each other. But the problem is, the holes do not match from the bottom of the top shelf and where it should connect to the bottom shelf. Also, the sides of the bottom shelf should have the same holes, but they did not. Missing a wooden peg, too.The shelf had very bad labeling. Tiny stickers of 1,2,3, etc., but no indication as to which end of 1 should fit which end of 3, for example. When you have two seemingly identical half shelves but they have minute differences, instructions should be very clear to help you figure how what should be connected to what.Literally took me a couple of hours to try to assemble it. In the end I gave up, called Amazon, and was issued a refund. I sent the second shelf I had purchased back to Amazon as well. (This one I didn’t even attempt to open.)I’m a veteran Ikea furniture assembler… I’ve owned various furniture pieces for the past two decades. I know this process is never smooth, but I still expect some basic quality for the money. This shelf was a let down. Maybe I got a lemon? I want to give the producer the benefit of the doubt… Wish it was better for their sake and mine.
