Very simple and yet I love them
For how cheap these curtains are, I can’t believe how pleased I am with them. I ordered the Natural color and it’s a really nice neutral kind of grainy taupe-ish color. They’re very simple, with a vinyl-like backing that makes them blackout. They’re lightweight yet somehow manage to not look cheap. I’d call them my favorite surprise happy purchase this year so far. I’m going to order more for other windows in my house.

Does as advertised, Great curtain
I bought these curtains on a recommendation for my neighbor because they said they were having good effects from them. As soon as I bought them I was skeptical because of the different colors and how it would go against the colors I already have in my home. The neutral tone of the curtain did not clash with what I had but I would say that I bought a double rod and made sure to hang my curtains almost close to the ceiling because of how long they were. It completely blocks out the light so in the morning I can barely tell the sun is out which is awesome for me because I sleep through shift. This was definitely worth my money works very well and the material is very thick it keeps the cold out and also helps retain a lot of the Heat. I will probably be using this in conjunction with bubble wrap on the window to save me money during the winter the material was very durable as well.

Great quality, great color, work great!
I loved these curtains. The fabric is good quality and so is the sewing/workmanship. The curtains move easily on the rod. The color of the curtains I picked – Seafoam Green – is so light and bright…not dull and greyish like others I tried. I am extremely happy with this purchase. And I may purchase some others for another bedroom in my house.

They do a great job at blocking the light. I did take a star away because I thought they were gonna be linen fabric material. They aren’t. But they look pleasant. It’s cold right now so I will let you know in the summer if it helps with heat. This brand is pretty good about heat retention.

Overall great quality and 90% effective
The material of the curtains was substantial and heftier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. I did need to steam/iron them to remove the wrinkles from the packaging. They are slightly long for my window, so the folds aren’t perfectly aligned when they hang; however, this is due to my own measurements. Overall, they effectively block out most light, with the only light filtration occurring at the sides and top edges. Ultimately, I am very satisfied with these.

The best blackout curtains I’ve purchased
Perfect length for our family room. I got this to turn that room into a sort of convalescence area for my wife who is recovering from cancer. There’s a sliding door there that faces south so you can imagine it gets BRIGHT sunlight. The material appears to be of great quality and doesn’t look out of place among our decor.

Good quality stitching, held up to washing on permanent press cycle in cold water with Woolite laundry detergent. I suggest not missing washing first before hanging, it helps to wash out odor and relax any wrinkles or folds in fabric caused by shipping. Texture is soft, has a tweed look to it. As you can see from photos blocks light out as advertised, size was prefect for my window 63 1/2″ x 63 1/2″

Nice curtains, but not blackout
I purchased these curtains specifically because they were advertised as blackout curtains, and while they do have some nice qualities, they do not live up to that claim.The material has a nice weight to it. They hang really well without looking stiff or cheap, and they immediately elevated the look of the room. The stitching was even, and I did not notice loose threads or flaws in the seams. They also help cut down on glare during the day and filter light enough to give the room a cozy, dimmed atmosphere. For appearance and basic functionality, I was happy.They are not true blackout curtains. Even with both panels pulled completely shut, a noticeable amount of light still comes through the fabric. In the daytime, the room is definitely not dark. It is more of a soft, filtered glow. At night, I can still see light from outside coming through, especially if there are streetlights or headlights passing by. If you need a pitch-black room for sleeping, these curtains will not get you there.Another issue is with the “edges” of coverage. Unless you overlap them with another set or use a wraparound curtain rod, light leaks in from the sides and top. That is somewhat expected with most curtains but combined with the fact that the fabric itself lets light through, it makes the “blackout” claim feel misleading.That said, I would not call them useless. They work well in a living room or office where you want some privacy and a softer atmosphere without shutting out all the light. They are also good if you just want something decorative and do not mind pairing them with blinds or a shade for extra coverage.If you are buying for looks or light filtering, they are worth it. If you are buying for true darkness (like a bedroom or nursery), you will likely be disappointed unless you plan to layer them with another window treatment.

I like how lightweight these blackout curtains are while still doing a good job in keeping out the light. They’re nicer looking than most blackout curtains – the backing is a light grey instead of black, and the fabric has a realistic linen weave to it. Measurements were accurate.

Quality wasn’t what I expected but for the price if you’re not planning to open and close these on a daily basis they could work. We had purchased the for our nursery where they’d get alot of use so we decided idea to get something a bit thicker.
