Lighter but Mighty
Great firepit, lighter than the 24” version I’ve had for years. Provides the same warmth as the larger version. Cover and carrying strap works great and very handy. Great for my RVing trips.

Primarily bought this for a music festival with multiple days of camping. We went a previous year and saw many people with these portable propane fire pits and decided we had to have one. Setup is easy just add the stones to the bowl and hook up to propane tank and fire away.I thoroughly tested this fire pit using a small 5lb propane tank since we didn’t want to haul the 20lber from the grill. On LOW setting, you can get about ~1 hour per 1lb of propane. A 5lb tank used on low lasted us about an hour an a half each night for 3 nights. Got a little over 5 hours total run-time. A 20lb tank could get you several hours if kept on low. Even on the lowest setting this thing put out good heat and kept us nice and cozy in the 30’s and 40’s at night. Very happy with this purchase! We will be bringing it with us to future festivals and will bring it camping any time there is a fire ban or if we don’t feel like starting a traditional campfire.

Having previously tried two other fire pits, we were thoroughly pleased with this one. It “lives larger” than the typical 19 inch gas fire bowl/pit. The flames were satisfyingly large. It did not look like just a circle of flame right over the burner. The flames danced like a real fire. It was easy: TURN ON TANK GAS SLOWLY. Hold a flame over the burner. Turn on the fire pit SLOWLY until it starts. Let it stabilize. Adjust flame height. The key to it all is this “slowly ” business. Gas lines now have a built -in safety feature that cuts gas flow if turned on too fast. The accompanying literature is very clear about how to set it up and start this. Way better than the other two we tried. We recommend this. It makes a bigger, nicer, warmer fire than the ones we tried before. With a lot more lava rocks too! Maybe our other brand problems were the gas line regulator but the other brand instructions did not mention it. This company gets an A+ for clarity, instructions and illustrations. Works well, but order hoping nothing is missing.
It worked very well, easy set up, great flame. But since it’s not a returnable/replaceable item, if it’s missing a part, you’re S.O.L. Which happened to me. Other than being stuck without a carry strap, it did work as advertised.Edit: Contacted Outland and with the warranty they sent me new straps free of charge. So minus the inconvenience of contacting Amazon and Outland, it was still a great purchase. 4.5/5 stars.

It’s perfectly perfect!
I ordered this March 23, 2021 and it has been amazing! Easy to use, puts out good local warmth, makes yummy smores, pretty portable! We pick up a 20lb propane canister from the exchange sites and it will last us at least 20 hours. (Maybe more? We don’t track it!)We did purchase a seperate carrying case to protect it during travel.

Excellent quality. I’ve had mine for a couple years now. Keep it out of the weather and it’ll last a long long time.Only downside side is it’s a manual ignition rather than piezoelectric striker but that is only a minor inconvenience. Two thumbs way up 👍👍

I bought this for my little patio/terrace. I had to do some test runs to figure out where to place it so that the fire didn’t heat up my banister, but once I found the sweet spot it was perfect. Love that I can hang on my balcony with friends. In really cold days it heats about 3 feet radius. Easy to light, turn off, and store. Great quality, light in weight, and easy to transport to the park!

Camping on the North West Coast of Scotland. Tent up, fire on, amazing sunset. What more could you ask for. A lot of campsites do not allow fire pits but will allow a fire bowl powered by propane gas. Clean, no mess, no wood to carry, minimal fire risk if positioned correctly. Even on half setting there was a lot of heat coming from it. We put in all the lava rock that came with it. One bag not enough really to cover the burners adequately. Really adds to the atmosphere of an evening. Very portable with the carrying straps/handle. You could really take this anywhere as long as your propane tank isn’t too big. Beach, Garden etc..

Set this up today. Instructions say it comes with 4 bags of lava rocks. 3 bags for the bowl and a bag of “spares”. Well, ours only came with 2 bags and the spares. Not a huge deal as the spares would likely just take up space on a basement shelf for decades. LOL It does blow through a lot of propane, but the manual says to expect that. A full 20 lb tank should last between 7 and 11 hours depending on the valve setting used. We used it full on tonight as it was quite chilly. If you were camping for a week and using it nightly I think it would be best to bring a spare tank if you have one.Anyway, it is a sturdy piece of gear that comes with a lid and carry straps. Doesn’t weight much. Less than 10 lbs I’d say. It was toasty warm once the lava rocks heated up. We sat about 3 feet away. Also, these can be used even if there is a fire ban on in most places. Check your local bylaws. Happy with this unit so far. It will make a nice addition to our camping gear.
