Like sleeping on a cloud – a perfect refresh for my mattress! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I bought this Serta ThermaGel topper (3-inch, Full size) to add some life to an older mattress that was starting to feel a bit too firm and lumpy. I wanted something that would offer pressure relief without making me overheat, and this has been a fantastic upgrade.Pros:Instant Comfort Upgrade: The 3-inch thickness is substantial. You definitely sink into it, but it feels supportive rather than just squishy. It significantly reduced the pressure points on my hips and shoulders.Cooling Effect: I tend to sleep hot, so I was hesitant about memory foam. However, the “ThermaGel” technology actually seems to work. It feels breathable and stays cooler than standard yellow foam toppers I’ve used in the past.Brand Quality: It’s nice to see it’s “Made in the USA.” The foam feels dense and durable, not cheap or flaky. It expanded to its full shape pretty quickly after unboxing.No Slip: The texture of the foam seems to grip the mattress well enough that it doesn’t slide around too much under the fitted sheet.Cons/Things to Note:Initial Smell: Like almost all memory foam products, it had a slight “new foam” smell right out of the box. I let it air out for about 24 hours before putting sheets on it, and the smell went away completely.Care: The instructions say “Spot Clean Only,” so I highly recommend using a waterproof or thick mattress protector over it just to keep it clean, as you can’t throw this in the washing machine.Verdict:If you aren’t ready to buy a brand-new mattress but need better sleep quality, this is a very cost-effective solution. It turned a mediocre bed into a luxury feel.

EXACTLY what i wanted. My family bought me a similar Serta topper 5 yrs ago after a major surgery. My matress has seen better days. The first one was very comfortable and I was still using it but my large dog digs at the bed before laying down and did rip it. Honestly, the first one was a little too soft. I had a full open abdominal so those muscles were cut and I have bad joints , so sitting up can be tricky. I found you sink in and had to actually roll to get up. This Serta topper is much more comfortable & much easier to get up from because all though soft, it is firmer. It bounces right back after you get up. . It gives but doesn’t make you sink. This helps sleeping when you have joint pain. I didnt feel as hot with it as much as the first either but could just be me. It came in a solid box ,( grandkids LOVE the box with the sheep and large flaps lol) compressed, well wrapped and in a duffle bag. It was fully expanded as soon as I opened it. I didnt notice any smells. This was the best sleep I’ve had in a long time and at this price I’ve considered buying an extra when it inevitably rips and wears down but I’ve read some reviews online that toppers didn’t fully expanded after stored a long time. Ill just enjoy this till it dies and replace it then. It was very fast shipping also. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS & WILL buy again!

I’m going to struggle to want to get out of bed! This is the best $69 I have spent in a very long time. This mattress topper stays cool and is so soft and literally cradles my body in heavenly comfort!

The most comfortable surface I’ve ever slept on even if it does run hot
Would have given it 10 stars for comfort. Fits the over the cal king mattress perfectly and I can’t believe how plush this feels . I nought a brand new firm mattress forgetting that it needed to be broken in. I prefer firm or so I thought. I got this topper hoping it would make the new mattress more comfortable. What a happy surprise! I love it. No more burning hip joints ( what’s THAT all about anyway) The ONLY reason I gave this 4 star was bc it says something about cooling. On the contrary. This topper seems to hold my body heat causing me to kick the blankets off. I’m ok with that bc we’re going into fall here on the East coast- but I keep the bedroom at a cool, 65 anyway.

What a difference in sleep!
I have a highly rated hybrid medium- firm mattress that I recently purchased. It was quite pricey and well made and while I really like it, my shoulders and hips sometimes get sore as I am a side sleeper. I kept it past the return period. At night I was waking often to turn sides because of soreness, so I decided to research a memory foam topper. After reading lots of reviews on this product I decided to purchase. I am Really glad I purchased it! It is a dream to lay on and I sleep so well. And it does not sleep hot. I would recommend it to anyone considering purchasing.

Not as Advertised
The intent of this mattress topper was to help soften the firmness of my mattress as my mattress causes me lots of pain when I slept on my sides, mainly my hips . It has been about a week since I slept on this mattress topper. Not only the pain on my sides has not changed, but I have gained additional pain on my shoulders, which is excruciating. My neck is super stiff with a constant headache. Overall, I am in more pain now than I was 1 week ago.I tend to sleep in the middle of the bed. The mattress topper is slightly indented already. To seek a little comfort, I start out on one side of the bed and slowly moving across the bed in the last 3 nights. Tonight, within 4 hours I trekked across my bed and now I find my couch provides better comfort than my bed. This couch has been in the family since the 1980’s. Sleeping on this mattress topper has been worse than sleeping on my firm mattress.I don’t even know how to return this mattress topper. It’s bulky. I will probably have to cut it up into smaller pieces to dispose it in the trash can over time.I guess it’s better to spend the money to replace the entire mattress than to waste money seeking out different mattress toppers.I truly fail to understand why this mattress topper has so many high reviews. BTW, I am 5’4″ and weigh 123 lbs. Therefore, I don’t think my weight has anything to do with how the topper fails to support my weight and already has a slight indentation.

Ordered a mattress in a box and found it had good support, but FAR too firm so we ordered this topper. In so glad we did! It’s like sleeping on a cloud! The best sleep I’ve had in a close to a decade!

I bought it a month ago and after making an extended research on all of the mattresses that Amazon sell in the budget side, I found this one really comfortable for me, It’s really soft and it feels like a cloud so if you don’t like to sleep on soft mattress this is not meant for you. I don’t really care if it’s cold or hot because I love in a cold place so it’s perfect for me.
