TERRIBLE PURCHASE
This product is terrible. It comes out of the packaging looking promising but once it’s fully inflated the material is piled up and it’s hard and lumpy. I’ve let it sit for a week and it’s not smoothing out. Don’t waste your money. It’s a huge headache to ship back.

Five Stars – So Comfortable and Worth Every Penny!I am absolutely delighted with the WhatsBedding 5 Inch Memory Foam King Mattress Topper! From the moment I unpacked it, I could tell it was a high-quality product. The topper is extremely plush, and the memory foam provides excellent support – it feels like sleeping on a luxury hotel bed every night.The breathable and soft pillow top makes a noticeable difference in comfort, and the elastic straps keep it securely in place on my mattress. It fits perfectly on my king-sized bed, and I woke up with significantly less back pain from the very first night.If you’re looking to transform your bed and improve your sleep quality, I highly recommend this mattress topper. It’s well worth the investment! Five stars all the way!

Soft and protecting, but not cooling
It’s soft (almost silky), it’s comfy, and it’s water resistant…the pillow top is soft to the touch and it is cozy. Like a foam mattress, it arrives vacuum sealed and inflates as the material breathes and relaxes. At first we were optimistic as it seemed like it might keep expanding but stopped well short of what we anticipated.The main issue is the cover is NOT cooling as advertised, it’s closer to the feeling of sleeping on flannel sheets, which is perfectly fine for others, just not us. We keep our bedroom at less than 68 degrees and after two weeks of testing we feel like we’ve lost the benefit of the gel pad in our mattress and have both woken up sweaty in the morning. Any extra curricular activity is also difficult to cool down from, again it just isn’t cooling.Another note regarding the pillow top, it is soft to the touch but too thin, more of a thin pad than a pillow top (like a cross between a duvet and goose feather comforter).Where this topper would be perfect: if you run cold and need added warmth and already have a soft mattress, this is perfect. It will protect from water, create a soft veneer for your mattress, it will keep you warm, and even the king size will easily fit in the washing machine.Why it doesn’t work for us: the cotton is not breathable and holds heat and is simply not ‘pillow’ enough, the topper does not soften a firm mattress. We will likely switch to a foam topper for softness w thin bamboo protector for better breathability.Overall we were disappointed for our use, but can see how others might like it.

This is a really good mattress protector. It’s soft and the extra padding is comfortable and nice to lie down on. Only problem is, I found myself overheating at night. I ended up returning it. It’s perfect if you like to sleep warmer…not so much if you prefer cooler sleeping conditions.

As this pad stops water it must have a plastic barrier which makes the bed very very warm. Wake up in a sweat. Had to remove it.
